The VP debates are on tonight. I will check in briefly. I did not anticipate the media hype Palin would create when she was announced as the GOP running mate. I guess I had more faith in the process... Her absolute lack of experience and blatant transformation of this election into a reality TV show event reminds me more and more of Vonnegut's description's of the president in his book Player Piano - a spineless PR face more inline with a game show host than a real public servant.
